Charla - Very timely and so thoughtful of you to share this with us. I met a RM couple in the Temple this week. We talked about this very same problem - sending money to organizations to help the poor in different countries.The RM couple served missions in China and Uganda. I told her I was sending money to help support a 'child2youth'foundation organized by a couple in California. They wrote a series of articles in Mormon Times regarding the poverty and lack of schooling. I was touched by the articles and sent money and received an answer from them. This RM couple said it is best to send money to LDS Charities She said she could tell me horror stories reguarding this.Just thought I would let you 'know'. Thanks aggain. Grannie
